New build — full interior design & furnishing

This house started with a black exterior, before black houses were being done in the Capital Region. People advised against it, especially on a spec build. Cynthia felt otherwise. The black warms with wood tones outside and carries inside in small doses: the fireplace wall with its shiplap and rustic beam, sconces repeated from the outside in. The fluted wood wall was built custom, before modular panels were something you could buy.
